I read somewhere that as little as one death can kill your chances of getting salvage, but going AFK will get you salvage every time. (untested)

I have had a few experiences in 1.4 where I search for battle, the search ends, and nothing happens. BUT... I can hear the match going on, and my searches are cancelled immediately. Had to log out and back in to fix this twice tonight.

Had to bail from dropship, and could not activate inertia dampeners. Had a few seconds to ponder the meaning of it all on my way to the ground. Didn't come up with anything.

You might consider reballing the CPU and GPU if you aren't in Europe. (European rules insist on lead free solder) It's about a $150 repair, but should extend the life of the system. Doubt it will solve hard resets, as my newish slim has done the s...

If you are having firing issues, watch your ammo. Severe lagging gives you infinite imaginary ammo. Never run out, but can't hit anything. Ammo in magazine will not decrease.
